You can enjoy many winter activities at Ontario Provincial Parks such as skiing, snowshoeing or skating. A number of Ontario Provincial Parks are open for day-use and some offer overnight camping. A winter daily vehicle permit can be purchased if you plan to visit often. Go cross-country skiing on more than 450 kilometres of trails. Go snowshoeing on a designated snowshoe trail or go skating on a unique skate trail. If you are interested in overnight camping, trailer/tent sites are available along with interior/backcountry sites and heated roofed accomodations.

- There are 26 Provincial Parks that are open during the winter season.
- 19 Provincial Parks offer more than 450km of cross-country ski trails.
Overnight camping
Overnight camping is offered at 12 Ontario Provincial Parks with 3 options.
- Trailer/tent camping (Pinery, MacGregor Point, Algonquin Mew Lake)
- Interior/backcountry camping (Algonquin, Frontenac, Killarney, Quetico, Sleeping Giant, Woodland Caribou and Wabakimi)
- Heated roofed accommodations (Arrowhead, Algonquin, Killarney, MacGregor Point, Pinery, Sandbanks, Sleeping Giant and Windy Lake)
